Program:

Day 1 : Arrival at Ulaanbaatar. Transfer at our guest house, breakfast & rest. Bank, lunch and visit of the National Museum of Mongolia. Diner at a restaurant and overnight at the guest house.
Day 2 : Ride to the national park of Terelj and meeting with the family. Hiking. Meals and overnight.
Day 3 : Horse ride (20 km) to the second family. Hiking in the neighbourhood. Diner and overnight under tent near the family’s ger.
Day 4 : Horse ride (25 km) to the “Princess temple”. Overnight under tent.
Day 5 : Horse and/or walk ride (18 km) to the “Zuugiin spring”. Amazing landscape (mainly forest). Overnight under tent.
Day 6 : Horse ride (20 km) to Mergen Khutul. Overnight under tent.
Day 7 : Walk or ride horse (18 km) to the “Khagiin Khar Nuur” lake. Hiking in the neighbourhood. Overnight under tent.
Day 8 : Resting day near the lake.
Day 9 : Ride (30 km) to “Khag” (estuary of the Tuul river). Overnight under tent.
Day 10 : Ride along the Tuul river (25 km). Overnight near a family’s ger.
Day 11 : Horse ride (15 km) to the “Zuun Bayan” valley then to the “Baruun Bayan” valley (15 km). Overnight under tent.
Day 12 : Back ride to Terelj. Hiking in the neighbourhood. Overnight under ger.
Day 13 : Back ride to Ulaanbaatar, city tour and free time. Diner at a restaurant and overnight at the guest house.
Day 14 : Transfer to the airport and flight back.

Remark : Distances mentioned are average distances ; as a result they are mentioned for your information and they can vary according to the relief. Things are adaptable under some circumstances. The region is very beautiful and still remains wild : access to this remote area is not easy but you will enjoy the beauty of landscapes. No families are living on our way to the “Khagiin Khar Nuur” lake that is why you spend nights under tent. The two nights in Terelj will be spent under ger near a nomadic family.
