Day 1 : Route from UB to Bag Gazriin Chuluu (pretty place with granite rock-forming). Overnight in a tourist camp.
Day 2 : Route from Bag Gazriin Chuluu to the Yoliin am Valley. Hiking in the valley (georgeous gorge in which the river remains frozen all year long). Overnight in a tourist camp.
Day 3 : Route from Yoliin am to the « Singing » sand dunes : hiking to the top of the dunes. Overnight in a tourist camp.
Day 4 : Day spent on site. Walk in the neighbourhoods and the near oasis. Overnight in a tourist camp.
Day 5 : Route from the sand dunes to Bayanzag : forest of saxaoul (famous Gobi desert tree, known to be an excellent combustible and extremely hardy) and red cliffs. Overnight in a tourist camp.
Day 6 : Route from Bayanzag to the Ogiin khiid monastery (ruins of a old monastery). Overnight in a tourist camp.
Day 7 : Route towards the Orkon waterfalls. The Orkhon valley is listed on the UNESCO world heritage. Overnight in a family.
Day 8 : Route from the waterfalls to the Tovkhon monastery (small hermitage located on the top of a moutain, ancient sacred mediation place founded in 1653 by Zanabazar). Overnight in a family.
Day 9 : Route towards the ancient capital of the Mongolian empire, Karakorum. Visit of the Erdene Zuu monastery and of the monument paying tribute to Chinggis Khaan and his empire. Overnight in a tourist camp.
Day 10 : Route from Karakorum to Khogno Khan Uul : hiking in a granite region and visit of the Ovgon monastery. Overnight in a tourist camp.
Day 11 : Route back to UB.
