Ulaanbaatar is a city where tradition and innovation are getting along together. If Mongolia would be a contrast case-study, UB would be the most representative example : soviet period buildings, modern buildings built by entrepreneurs whose motto is the free market, Buddhist temples are summed up to create a heterogeneous ensemble yet consistent.
Art market is enjoying this dynamic. Numerous Mongolian artists exhibit their work on international stages (Japan, Korea, Europe).
UB is an ideal place for the development of art. It is a young city full of energy and the inhabitants are the true reflection of UB : nomad and adventurous mind. And art is the image of the inhabitants. So let’s now picture the Mongolian art through all we enounced before.
UB is also full of art galleries, artist workshops, etc. … the sector is expanded quite fast

-promotion of Mongolian artists in France (we organized the unique exhibition of painting dedicated to the Mongolian modern art in Paris in 2009)
