Le gouvernement mongol et l’Asian Development Bank ont signé un accord dont le but est de développer le réseau de transports publics à Oulan Bator. L’accord prévoit la construction de couloirs entièrement dédiés à la circulation des bus : ce projet devrait être achevé d’ici sept ans et à terme (d’ici une trentaine d’année), la municipalité se verrait dotée d’un métro (!!).

Le coût total de ce projet avoisine les 299 millions de dollars dont une première tranche de 27 millions de dollars sera versée sous peu.
